1-13-26 Donald & his 2 crew team provided me the best tree trimming job I could have asked for. From the office, to the trimming & as I'm typing, Cody in a grapple truck was most impressive w/ his skill too, which is a 1st 4me to witness. There is no need to call anyone else. Most impressive tree co. I have EVER dealt with & I've been around awhile. Thank you all. Sincerely, Steve McGaugh.

Wichita Tree Service did a phenomenal job from the beginning, starting with a reasonable bid from Lance. The cutting crew Donnie, Brian, and AJ were all very professional, friendly, and helpful. They all worked so well together and kept safety as priority. In addition, the stump grinders, Devin and the blue team did a fantastic job. They cleaned up everything perfectly. I recommend these guys and will be calling them next time we need tree work done without hesitation!

Our crews are equipped to handle jobs efficiently within this service area, ensuring quick response times for homeowners. We focus on Wichita to maintain our high standards of safety and expertise without spreading too thin.
At Wichita Tree Service, we follow ISA and ANSI A300 standards for all tree pruning, avoiding harmful practices like topping or lion tailing that can cause irreversible damage to trees. Instead, we perform proper crown reductions by cutting back to lateral limbs, promoting healthier growth and better healing. Our advanced climbing arborists never use spikes during pruning to protect tree health, and we educate customers on these techniques to prevent future issues.
Robert Phillips, the owner of Wichita Tree Service, is Wichita's only Board-Certified Master Arborist (MW-5884B) and a certified arborist who passed his exam on the first attempt after extensive self-study. He founded the company in 2012, starting with basic equipment and growing it through adherence to ethical practices and ANSI/ISA standards. Today, his leadership ensures all crews are highly trained in safe, professional tree care.
We utilize three specialized stump grinders: the compact Vermeer SC362 for hard-to-reach spots, the 80 HP Rayco RG80 that fits through 36-inch gates and is gentle on lawns, and the powerful 120 HP Bandit 2900T tracked machine for larger stumps. These tools allow us to handle stumps too big or inaccessible for other services, ensuring complete removal without damaging surrounding areas. Our equipment enables efficient backyard access and minimal disruption to your property.
Wichita Tree Service offers cost-effective land clearing using specialized grapple trucks, cranes, and backyard lifts, often beating large excavation companies by thousands of dollars due to our efficiency, low overhead, and waste recycling capabilities. We recycle debris at our own green waste center in Wichita, turning it into firewood, lumber, and wood chips to reduce landfill waste and keep costs down. This approach is ideal for both small residential lots and large commercial sites in the Wichita area.
Our fully insured and safety-minded crews start with a free estimate to assess the tree, using bucket trucks, cranes, or advanced climbing techniques to remove it safely without spikes or damage to property. We follow ISA standards throughout, ensuring proper takedown and cleanup, with options for grapple truck hauling up to 180 yards including trailers for large jobs. Post-removal, we can grind stumps and recycle debris at our Wichita facility for sustainable disposal.
