Steve, Walk on Water Plumbing Services, was very quick to reply to my request for help with not having hot water. He communicated by phone and text to arrange for a time for him to be by, after his very long workday. We live in Roxborough Park and it was quite a drive for him. He was able to diagnose water heater malfunction, and he continued to try to light the pilot for quite a while. The pilot would not stay lit for longer than a minute. I reviewed the inspection report for when we purchased the house in May of 2025, and the report pointed out that the water heater would need replacement soon, as it was already 17 years old. We made arrangements for a new water heater to be installed the next day and Lucas was extremely efficient and personable. I was not overcharged, as my husband had researched pricing on water heaters right after learning we needed a replacement. Labor/installation + cost of water heater was very reasonable. I’ve texted Steve for resources on wiring for our thermostat and he was able to have an electrician, Anthony Mares, call me right away. My wiring issues were taken care of very quickly and in a professional manner. I would also recommend Anthony(Tony)Mares for any electrical wiring needs.

I was referred to Steve and his team by a colleague. I'm glad I have them in our rolodex now as the price the quoted was very fair and when Rob who was assigned to our case came out to help with the repair he was on time (ahead of schedule which worked better for us that day) and quickly repaired the leak. He was professional and very knowledgable. He didn't pressure us for cross sales and try to upgrade us, etc. like the big firms in the area do- bottom line is Rob enjoys helping us customers and takes pride in his work. It's impressive to see how Steve has grown his company through word of mouth and no marketing which helps keep the costs down and transfers to our own project fair pricing we customers see. I highly recommend this group and will certainly use them in the future.

I'll be honest...I called Walk On Water because A. They are located near me and B. Their business name tickled my funny bone. It turns out they are also great at their work, prompt and honest. I called Tuesday afternoon, texted a video of my issue, and Steve set up an appointment for Thursday morning. Rob showed up (on time) and had the issue figured out in about 5 minutes flat. The charge to fix it was very reasonable, and (with no pressure) Rob offered other related plumbing services and prices, should I want or need them. And I think I just might.
