Tallapoosa River Electric Cooperative (TREC), established in 1939, is an electric distribution cooperative serving several counties in East Central Alabama. As a not-for-profit, member-owned utility, TREC focuses on providing dependable and competitively priced electricity to its members. They also offer free energy audits, residential power quality audits, and HVAC design services.
