We contacted Mac Sorlien for a quote on our large remodel/addition onto our house. He was quick to get me the numbers. His quote came in very reasonble and much lower than a large electrical contractor here is Sioux Falls (not to mention that other large contractor was a relative to my general contractor and they thought they could charge what ever they wanted). Mac and I proved them wrong! Troy and Jereme worked on the project from start to finish. They were great to work with. Timely, professional and the extra charges we incurred in project were very fair and reasonable. We have had some minor hickups in our theater TV and sound system they installed andJeremy has stopped in numerous times to troubleshoot it. I think we finally have it fixed!! I would highly recomment Sorlien for your next electrical job ( big or small) Kent and Marlys Harnisch
We recently had a generator and new electrical panel installed. Sorlien was a great company to work with and the 2 electrician (Pat and Jerin) kept us informed of everything that was being done and we were completely satisfied with the job. They were very professional and offered great advice. We will need some additional work done in the future and hope that we get these two gentleman. Although, I am sure that all of the employees are up to the task.
Horrible customer service! I am not the one to usually leave a bad review but this was enough disgust so that if anyone is ever put in this situation i hope you see this: If you call in for the repair, you are responsible for the repair bill even if you tell them you do not own the home and that the landlord told you to call because Sorlien has been out before. I explained on multiple times I was not the home owner after receiving the bill in my name. When I called and explained this multiple times I was told "we only heard from you" which I know is not true but okay I am right you are wrong, and I don't believe the customer is always right, buuutt this time I was right, moving on to the next issue they didn't even complete the job! I have 2 outlets that still don't work and also explained that in one of the many phone calls and was told "I will look into that" obviously was not since I never heard a call back to address unfinished project. Also, to mention when they ordered the parts it took weeks which isn't their fault I understand that but having lights ON for weeks and the only way to turn them off is flipping the breakers! You think you would ask to overnight the parts?? maybe no?? okay.. The light problem started June 18th and the repair didn't happen until July 21st! Can you imagine my light bill? and I had to be the one to send the text messages and phone calls asking for updates and if the parts came in. It's unfortunate because the first time they came out it was a way different experience. This go around was super unpleasant!
