Overhead Door Company of Kansas City

We had two new garage doors installed by Overhead Door Company of Kansas City and are very happy with how everything turned out. We went with their new Medium Oak Plank Panel doors and they look great. Huge upgrade to the house, and we’ve already had several neighbors compliment them. What stood out most was their honesty. They noticed a shipping defect on two of the panels before installation, pointed it out to me, and replaced them quickly. I think a lot of contractors would have tried to hide it. They didn’t. There was a small install issue that required them to come back, but they were prompt, professional, and took care of it with no questions or hassle. Michael Wheat was our salesperson and he was excellent. Very patient, came back a couple of times while we decided what we wanted to do, and was straightforward the whole time. He even told us our old openers would probably run forever, but we chose to upgrade to new DC motor quiet openers anyway. The price was very fair and they’ve been great. Overall, great experience, quality work, and a company that does the right thing. I would absolutely recommend them.

OD repaired our broken garage door on a Sunday (no added cost for a weekend). Heavy, original wooden door. Replacement wasn’t an option. What I thought would be a two man job, one man took care of it. I didn’t take before photos, but cables were broken, hardware was rusted, bolts were bent and popping out of house framing, and door was off tack and at a slant. All good and working great in a couple hours. He even programmed my wife’s vehicle

I had a spring break and could not open my garage door at all so my garage was actually holding my Chevy Blazer hostage. But one call to Overhead Door Company of Kansas City and a few hours later I had new springs on and my door is working perfectly. Glenn was the hero in this story.
