Had a plumbing emergency on a Friday evening (11pm) when our sink/ washing machine drains backed up and flooded the laundry room. I called Lake Michigan Heating/ Cooling/ Plumbing and they took my info, and told me they’d have someone out in the morning. Eli was the man! He came and assessed the problem, proposed two solutions, and completed the work efficiently. He was kind and proffessional, and I learned he has a band that I will enjoy listening to. Thanks Eli!
I'm extremely disappointed with the work that was done on our basement drain pipe. We paid over $1000 to have our drain pipe cleared and 2 months later it backed up again. It's advertised that they're open 24hrs but over the weekend I was only able to talk to the answering service telling me someone would call me back and no one ever did. We got a second opinion and was told that the drain was never in fact cleared and we were shown that in his camera. We explained this to Lake Michigan Heating and cooling and we were told we would have to be charged again for him to come and finish the work that we already paid for. If he had done the work thoroughly, there no way 2 months later roots will clog the drain entirely. Lake Michigan heating and cooling will charge yoy full price for a job that isn't completed. They'll also rip you off by charging you full price for a job they never finished. Plus their office manager is rude and unprofessional. I would never recommend this business or work with them again. Good luck to anyone who does.
Great experience with Lake Michigan Heating & Cooling. Obviously no one is looking forward to the day when their furnace goes out. And absolutely dreads making that call to a company you've never worked with before. With all that being said, my interaction with everyone in the company has been very promising. Signed up for the monthly maintenance after they got my furnace back up and running. From now on im taking a much more proactive stance in increasing the life of my household essentials. Thank you guys!
