Kaufman Roofing replaced our 20+ year-old roof. They were outstanding. We had some roof damage from a hail/wind storm August 15. We called them based on their strong local reviews. They were very responsive. Their sales/estimator rep Riley R. was able to come out early the next morning. Riley assessed our roof and then walked us through the assessment, repair v. replacement issues options, the particulars of the insurance claim process, estimated costs, next steps and probable timelines. He was so professional and helpful, the choice to work with Kaufman was a no-brainer. Riley remained our primary contact. He successfully navigated us through the insurance claim process. He worked directly with their adjuster, providing all estimates/information they requested. He kept in frequent contact us with updates through the final claim approval. The project agreement Riley e-mailed us for approval was not just a project summary and cost estimate. It included 3 pages of FAQs that provided very helpful info and specifics on scheduling and what to expect during construction. The office (Angie H.) emailed a list of addresses of 9 area homes that that had the exact three shingle color choices that we considered. An afternoon drive easily got us to a final choice. We were able to schedule just over two weeks out. On Oct. 13, a crew of eight arrived literally at sunrise (7:30). They immediately began installing tarps and plywood for debris and property protection. It was as if we were watching a well-rehearsed multiple act play: tear-off to bare roof; inspection by project manager (Matt F.) for any structural, issues (replaced three 4x8 deck panels). Brief intermission for lunch. Then, new install: water barriers, underlayment, metal valley flashings, shingles and vents. It concluded with a thorough clean-up. The crew was awesome: professional, highly skilled, precise and meticulous in their work – and, amazingly efficient! Finished and gone by 4:30. Curtain call: a great looking roof, with no sign of them ever having been here. What began as distressing roof damage, ended with a stress-free roof replacement. FIVE STARS for Kaufman Roofing! I’m a first time home owner and my husband and I bought our house knowing it needed a new roof. Felt daunting! I started asking around if anyone had a good roofer, Kaufman came up a couple times. Out of all the quotes I revived Kaufman stood out from the beginning. The scheduling team was extremely responsive and had Jake Olmstead out to my house right away! Jake spent a lot of time with me that initial call explaining the entire process and answering all my questions. Summer got busy and we didn’t move forward on the project right away but Jake was super understanding and came back out to our house to walk us through the quote and review the project with both of us. Our project was finished this week and looks fantastic!!! The install team was excellent as well as the crew lead. We couldn’t be happier with Kaufman and will definitely recommend them for roofing and exterior work.

Kaufman Roofing was reliable, informative and provided top-notch service. They replaced my roof and some gutters after recent storm damage and did amazing work. Where two other roofing companies had stopped being responsive, Kaufman kept in contact with me and my insurance and got things moving where the other companies stalled and failed. Everyone I worked with was friendly and informative and they made the whole process feel easy and not too overwhelming. I mostly worked with Riley R. and Matt F.
