We had Matthew come out to look at our hot water heater and had a wonderful experience. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what was going on in a way we could understand. He quickly diagnosed the issue and made sure everything was working properly before he left. Matthew was friendly, respectful, and clearly takes pride in his work. It’s such a relief to find someone reliable and trustworthy. We would definitely recommend him to anyone needing help with their hot water heater or plumbing needs!

We called Jewell Mechanical because we had a leak in our Navien Tankless Hot Water Heater. We originally had another company (Hers and His Plumbing) come out through our home warranty company. Besides having to wait a total of 3 weeks for them to come out 3 times, wait for parts, install numerous parts, and wait for appointments, they were not able to fix the leak. I called Jewell who is an authorized Navien installer/servicer. They were able to get someone to our house within 2 hours. Matthew was our technician, and he did an outstanding job, identifying the problem (bad o-ring), coordinating with Navien Technical Support, and fixing the problem with O-Rings that were in a box of Navien parts. He also showed me that the previous company not only put in the wrong size O-Rings, but they also put them in the wrong position causing them to break when a retaining clip was installed. He also showed me that they also needlessly put in a recirculating pump even though the pump wasn't connected. Total charges were only $210 which I convinced my home warranty company to pay since the original contractor obviously had no idea what they were doing. We will be using Jewell for our next plumbing issue.

Andrew with Jewell Mechanical traveled to my residence on Monday after the snow-sleet-ice storm on Sunday to repair my gas heater. He was so kind, professional and knowledgeable. Stayed until he was certain it was repaired. Such a blessing to me. This was my second wonderful experience with Jewell Mechanical. I would recommend them 100%. Andrew is to be highly commended for braving the weather to travel from Smyrna to Springfield on such a treacherous day. He is truly a compassionate person. Jean B.
