We recently had a new garage built and needed the old (30+ years) driveway replaced. I called Korpaczewski & Son Asphalt for a quote. They responded within a couple of hours and scheduled an on-site visit for the following evening. The owner John arrived as scheduled. John immediately recognized that the garage was a little lower than the old driveway and based on the existing grade water was most likely pooling at the end of the driveway. It does! We were specifically concerned with water potentially building up in an area between the house, porch, garage and a high section of lawn. He clearly explained his recommendations to regrade and contour the area so the water would flow away from the structures. The day John and his team arrived to remove the old driveway, grade and lay the base for the new driveway, he took the time to beautifully contour the lawn area next to the house, going well above and beyond expectations!! John and his team came back the following week to lay the asphalt. We were extremely impressed with how well his team worked together. They all knew their tasks and went about their jobs upon arrival until finishing. These folks work like a well oiled machine! John’s knowledge and integrity was obvious from our first meeting. John and his team didn’t disappoint on any aspect of the job! We highly recommend Korpaczewski & Son Asphalt to anyone looking to have a new driveway or any other service that they provide! John and his son John have an excellent crew and equipment, and do outstanding work in record time! They come exactly when they tell you and they will they finish precisely on time. The quality of their work is truly exceptional. I was particularly impressed with their attention to detail and how they cleaned up the site to a condition much better than they found it. The men are very friendly and polite. It was difficult to estimate the job last winter because of the snowpack and they gave me an excellent value so I didn't mind paying a very small surcharge for quite a bit of additional work. Today was their third project for me and I will certainly have more for them in the future. John can give out my phone number.
