Intown Renovations Group

We used Intown Renovation Group (IRG) for a renovation on our 1950s ranch — a full second-story addition plus a gut renovation of the main floor including a new side entry. In the contractor evaluation phase, IRG stood out for value, transparency, and professionalism. IRG’s communication and project management was excellent. We had weekly meetings throughout the 9-month build, which kept us apprised of the project status. Our project coordinator, Ana, was organized, proactive, and always planning ahead so nothing stalled. She also offered smart design suggestions that elevated the final result. Any change orders were reasonable and tied to real conditions with our older structure — no surprises, no upselling. IRG’s subcontractors were skilled, professional, and worked well together. IRG was knowledgeable of the City of Atlanta permitting and inspection processes. We would recommend IRG without hesitation.

This team is incredible. They were wonderful partners in helping me bring my renovation vision to life. My on-site project manager, Ollie, is a treasure and has the most terrific problem-solving attitude. I also really enjoyed working with their recommended subcontractors. As with any renovation project, costs crept up more than I would have liked but I feel like it was 100% worth it and the team was respectful to my budget. They did a full kitchen and bathroom renovation in my 1925 apartment. My kitchen was likely last renovated in the 90s, but wasn't done well (for instance, the duct work installed chopped my wall and window in half). I think my bathroom had mostly original fixtures that after almost 100 years (like the floor) weren't holding up well. The pictures* say it all (though I would love to take better pictures of my bathroom, it's such a small room that the photos don't do this transformation justice and it has beautiful art now). I am still in touch with them and will absolutely consider them for any further work. *picture quality is poor because I had to screenshot from my instagram, whoops! didn't realize I had deleted them already

We would give IRG a 10-star rating if we could! We have completed 2 major renovations to our home during the last 35 years and our recent very successful master bath/bedroom renovation by IRG was the least stressful by far. From our first phone conversation with Barry to our final walk through with Alicia and Heberto, we were impressed with the professionalism and care exhibited by everyone associated with this company as they completed our renovation on time and on budget. We began our project with a detailed cost estimate and Alicia skillfully managed our project by providing weekly work schedules in advance and weekly or bi-weekly payment spread sheets. She also kept the project moving by informing me of all materials and items I needed to provide to the subs to keep the job running smoothly. She was always available by phone, text or email with prompt replies about any concerns or issues that arose. She gave great advice helping to resolve construction and design issues ( which can always be tricky when renovating older homes). All the subcontractors were friendly, skilled and professional. We are very happy with the quality of their work. And a special thank you to Heberto who managed our job on a day to day basis. From carefully protecting the part of our home that was not being renovated from dust and disturbance to painting and finishing up the many finer details of our job, he left no concern unaddressed and no issue or problem unresolved.
