EDIT: After learning that the owner had an accident, moving from two stars to four. When I called on Saturday to inquire about the missed appointment, the unprofessionalism warrants minus one star. Sorry, I can’t recommend this company. I called Justin and was able to schedule a diagnostic appointment on short notice for Friday at noon, which we appreciated. He actually arrived at 11:30. Fortunately we were home, but a quick heads-up about running early would have been helpful. Justin diagnosed the issue (we needed an upgraded breaker switch), but he had to leave suddenly due to an urgent personal matter. Later that afternoon I spoke with him by phone and we scheduled the repair for the next day, Saturday at noon. Unfortunately, Saturday noon came and went with no arrival and no communication. When I called his number at 12:30 to check in, someone else answered the phone. The person said they had no record of our appointment and could not tell me where Justin was. He was also unwilling to connect me with Justin. We ended up scheduling the work with another company on Monday. I never heard from Justin again—no apology, no explanation for the missed appointment, and no attempt to reschedule.

Justin was able to come out on short notice to look into a problem we were having with a melted wall outlet and identified the root problem. It turned out that our electric panel was out dated and not safe. Justin installed a new electric panel and meter housing for us just days after we spoke on the phone. The new panel looks great and is working great! He explained everything that he was doing very well in a way that I could understand. We hope to not have any more electrical issues come up, but if we do we'll be giving Interstate Electric and Solar a call!

Justin came to my house, diagnosed and repaired an electrical problem with my lighting, along with explaining my options for an EV charger. He did an excellent job on the repairs, and I felt like he was well qualified to perform any future electrical work on my home.
