Hurley & David - Air Conditioning, Heating, Plumbing, & Electrical

H&D installed our boiler 15 years ago and it's worked great. Recently, two radiator steam vents "failed", and the result was leaked water in two rooms. I called H&D and was able to get an appointment when I requested and today, Gabriel came over. He began by recalibrating the auto-filler to a setting more appropriate for a two-level home which he expects will alleviate the over-fill situation I've experienced as of late. Then, at my request, he changed all 10 radiators' steam vents. (I prefer prevention over repair.) He was efficient at his work; did a great job explaining things to me and is a very pleasant young man. I am confident that he's solved my issues. Hope the next time I have service from H&D, they send Gabriel!

Salesman Nicolas Buija came over to discuss a new oil burner heating system. He was quite knowledgeable on different boilers and he recommended Crown as a top choice for reliability, longevity and easy install. We talked about a external water tank as well. I thought the overall price of the system was quite high, but with the senior and military discount it seemed to make the overall price reasonable. I had a very high credit score and the finance percentage was at 9.9% for a 15 year loan. I figured if I pay off the loan quickly, the interest will not be a major factor, but minor in additional interest cost. Overall, I had a pleasant experience dealing so far with Hurley & David. We will see how the installation will go.

I recently moved and within a week of living in my home, I received a high bill from my electric company that shocked me. Hurley & David was recommended to me to check the H-VAC system. The tech that came out was Nathaniel, he was VERY professional and knowledgeable about his job. He showed me what the culprit was and took time to explain and answer all my questions. I like that he checked first what was going on, then explained what needs to be done with different package options. That way, you know what you'll be paying before they start working. Also if you choose a package and something on it doesn't need to be done, I like the transparency and honesty of removing it and letting you know. Nathaniel changed the system that was unfortunately set up to run 24 hours, washed the filters and showed me how to change one of the filters that saved me some money. I liked that he wore a shoe covering when entering my home. That's a plus especially if you have little ones and carpeted floors. Kudos to HD for enforcing that, that shows respect to someone's home. I also like that HD cares about our military and their families who sacrifice so much and they offer an additional percentage discount on top of the discount that they give. I would recommend HD 100%. It's also good to have a professional, knowledgeable company service your home, hence the reason I signed up for one of their packages for a reasonable amount that they charge annually.
