Jim installed our furnace and did an excellent job! We had received several quotes and decided to choose Homestead based on fair pricing, knowledge, Jim's trustworthy personality and the fact that Homestead is Veteran owned. He was personable, patient throughout our extensive questioning and we could tell that he truly cared for all of his customers. Jim didn't try to up-sell us on needless items and he was honest about work that could provide potential risks (which no one else was honest about). He had solutions to avoid certain risks and demonstrated great problem solving skills as well as attention to detail. Jim worked efficiently and maintained excellent communication throughout the process. We ran into a billing issue at the end of the project (we used the wrong credit card, totally our fault) and he fixed it effortlessly, leaving us without worry. We are so happy that we chose Homestead!

Excellent, excellent service. I would recommend you to anyone needing work done on their heating. In our case our 30 year old furnace was in such bad shape it was no longer safe to use it. The technician ordered us a very efficient new furnace and we love it. There is such a difference in its ability to heat the house and its efficient use of heating oil.

I was in need of a central A/C replacement. I had a two companies I knew of and have always gotten 3-4 estimates. I was looking for another. So I just did a google search. I read some reviews and decided to get an estimate. James got in touch with-in the hour, scheduled a time to look at the job, and I received confirmation by text of when he was arriving. He does have a communication system that lets you know your appointment through out the whole project. When you call you get someone. He quoted the job, he reviewed the quote with me over the phone, he answered all my questions, and he was given the job. His work was clean, he’s respectful of your house, is a professional, and you can tell he likes doing this work. He didn’t upsell me anything, he sized my system to my square footage, and he has his own 3 year warranty along with the manufacturer’s 10 year. I’m sure not every job is smooth, and not every person is easy to work with. He earned this 5 star review.
