I had a fantastic experience with ES & DS from start to finish. Amanda, who answered the phone and scheduled my appointment, was incredibly friendly—such a refreshing change from the typical “Plumber. What do you want?” New York style response. She provided excellent follow-up and managed to schedule me in under an hour for same-day service. Carlos and Justin, the plumbers, were equally impressive. They were both professional and friendly, quickly resolving the clog in my bathroom sink. They took great care with the surrounding cabinetry and left the area spotless when the job was done. The price was very reasonable for New York City, on top of an already excellent experience. Efficient, professional, courteous, and fairly priced. Highly recommend!

A month ago, I desperately needed sewerage service. Fortunately I got in contact with Electric Sewer & Drain Service, Inc. The receptionist was extremely efficient in obtaining the appropriate service needed, in a timely fashion. My work was done by Johnny. This technician was very knowledgeable and very professional. After the work was completed, the owner of the company checked back with me. To make sure that the work was completed to my satisfaction. It was completed beyond my expectation. This will be my go to company.

As a family-owned and operated business since 1945, Electric Sewer & Drain Services has over 70 years of expertise in sewer and drain services throughout the Bronx and surrounding areas. We specialize in fixing issues right the first time, ensuring customer satisfaction with our professional approach. Our long-standing presence in the community means we understand local plumbing challenges like grease buildup and pipe clogs.
Hydrojetting, also known as water jetting, uses high-pressure water to flush out grease, debris, and blockages from sewer lines without chemicals, making it an environmentally friendly solution. At ES&DS, our high-powered water jet machines clear extensive buildup that snaking can't handle, restoring functional drains in residential and commercial properties across NYC. This method prevents costly repairs by thoroughly cleaning pipes from the kitchen sink to the main sewer line.
Yes, ES&DS provides state-of-the-art video inspections to diagnose clogs, pipe damage, tree roots, or breaks in your sewer and drain systems in the Bronx and beyond. Our camera equipment captures detailed images and pinpoints issues, which we document on a full DVD for homeowners or in partnership with home inspectors. This non-invasive process helps avoid unnecessary repairs and ensures your pipes' health before buying or during maintenance.
Our preventative maintenance plan at ES&DS is a flexible, non-binding agreement tailored to your needs, with routine cleanings scheduled annually, bi-annually, or quarterly to prevent clogs from mineral deposits, grease, and debris in pipes. This service keeps drains clear and backup-free, reducing the risk of emergencies in Bronx homes and businesses. By maintaining your sewer lines proactively, we help avoid costly disruptions and extend the life of your plumbing system.
ES&DS offers 24/7 emergency services for sewer and drain issues, including clogs, slow drainage, and backflow problems in Manhattan, the Bronx, and our other service areas. Snaking, using a professional plumbing snake or drain auger, is highly effective for clearing stubborn blockages like hair, soap scum, or foreign objects in toilets, showers, and other drains without chemicals. ES&DS technicians navigate deep into the plumbing system to break apart clogs, restoring smooth water flow quickly and safely for both residential and commercial clients in New York. This non-invasive method minimizes disruption and is ideal for minor to major obstructions in floor drains, yard drains, or tubs.
