Our 20 year old water heater leaked out and needed replaced. After selecting our new tankless water heater, Nick McKenzie was the tech who arrived first to start the installation process. Our utility room space is challenging/tight, but it didn't phase Nick at all. Another technician was supposed to come to relieve Nick to finish the job, but that tech got called out to another site, so Nick worked extra hours to get the job done. They also sent another tech named Parker to come assist with finishing the job. The installation took 5-6 hours to complete. About 2 hours in, my 8 yr old son arrived home and immediately begin quizzing the techs on how everything worked and wanted to help them. Both Nick and Parker were great with my son! Nick is a trainer, so he immediately went into teaching mode, showing my son what everything was and how it works. They made it fun for him and by the end of the night he declared them as his new best friends. I can't express enough how grateful I am for their approach with my son, all while working diligently to get the job done. They also answered any questions my husband and I had; and once the installation was done, Nick guided us through how to use the new water heater and testing all the fixtures in the house before they left. So impressed with their positive attitudes, knowledge and professionalism!
I scheduled an appointment to have Eco come to my home for a plumbing issue. I was given a window for arrival from 8:00am-12:00 pm on my scheduled date. I was told I would receive a text close to arrival time. Around 10:30 I messaged my confirmation text to see if I could get a timeframe for arrival. The response to that text was that there were emergency appointments that they were attending to and my appointment may need to be rescheduled. This was unacceptable to me as I took work off to make sure that I was home for my appointment. I then called them to see what was going on. That service rep told me I was still on the schedule. No one showed up the entire day and now I’m getting texts for a $50 discount to reschedule since “I cancelled my appointment”. This experience made me feel that my appointment was not as important as others and not showing up was acceptable. Offering a small discount to reschedule is not even an option as I took off work and now have zero faith this company cares about its customers. Horrible communication and customer service is my experience.
Nick was great. He had to dig through like 4 inches of concrete in a very small space to fix my toilet issue. I appreciate the updates throughout and the peace knowing it was done right.
