Detailed Building Solutions

I had a great experience working with Matt (and Max!) at Detailed Building Solutions. They turned an unused bedroom into a beautiful on-suite bathroom and walk-in closet. This was my first large scale remodel project, and I feel like I won the contractor jackpot by choosing Matt and his team. Matt was communicative, thorough, and genuinely cared about doing a good job. I wanted a particular vibe in the new space and Matt figured out how to make it happen, even when I changed the layout and materials (a few times) mid-project. My only hesitation with leaving a review is that he will be too booked up to have time for future remodel projects at my house!

I wish I could give more than five stars. Matt and his team built me a stunning, jaw-dropping, efficient and comfy new kitchen. I am thrilled that I was able to work with them. I was looking for a partner who would talk decisions through with me and was transparent about pricing. I knew the aesthetic that I wanted, and Matt worked with vendors so I was able to realize my vision. Matt was a great communicator, and everyone that worked on my house treated me with respect. Detailed Building Solutions is exactly what they are. Matt is a stickler for details, and made sure that all of his vendors lived up to his expectations. I lived in the house while they worked, and they were so courteous and helpful. They cleaned up every day and took steps to help protect the rest of the house. They went far out of their way to help me through the project. I love my kitchen. Although I had said that I don't intend to live in this house forever, Matt's work might change my mind.

Matt completed a full basement renovation for us, and we could not be happier! He was willing and able to do whatever was necessary to make our vision happen, and he took it beyond what we could have pictured. Exceeded expectations in every way. What was a mostly unused basement now has a home theater, wet bar, office, bedroom, full bathroom, and storage. Matt was great to work with throughout the whole process and very helpful in talking through things as we worked out details along the way. He clearly takes pride in his work, and it shows. His crew and subs were excellent as well. I will definitely contact Matt for future projects!
