If you are looking for an electrician, my best advice is to hire anyone but Deshaies. Based on my experience during a bathroom remodel in November 2025, a group of high school students would likely have shown more care and technical competence. The Major Issues: Property Damage: Without consulting me or the primary contractor, they drilled a hole completely through my aluminum siding while trying to run a cable. Unlike vinyl, aluminum siding cannot be easily repaired. To avoid the massive undertaking of replacing the entire side of my house, I allowed them to cover their blunder by installing an exterior security lamp over the hole. Safety Hazards: When they ran the wire to that new lamp, they used simple sealant between the electrical wire and the serrated aluminum siding. Over time, the metal would have cut through the wire and caused a short. I had to insist on photos of the "repair" to catch this dangerous oversight before they enclosed it. Lack of Foresight: They ran cabling directly in front of an exposed heating duct where drywall needed to be re-installed. It was visually obvious there was no clearance for the cable, yet they proceeded anyway, seemingly expecting the primary contractor to just "make it fit" by deforming the ductwork or the wall. Incomplete Work: They replaced a four-bulb light fixture over the sink but walked out without checking if it worked. When I arrived home, only 3 out of 4 lights functioned. While they may not have had bulbs on the truck, any competent electrician would have used a multimeter to verify the fixture was live before leaving. It took a multiple follow-ups through my primary contractor to get these basic mistakes corrected. Deshaies showed a complete lack of communication, zero respect for the integrity of my home’s exterior, and a disregard for basic electrical safety standards. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

We had a problem with the AC feed to our water heater. Couldn’t install the new heater until we resolved the electric. Deshaies responded and got someone there in 1 hour. Devin was great. Walked me through everything and did the work quickly. 5 stars.
