Comfy Cave Heating & Air

I’ve worked with Comfy Cave for about 11 years to keep my home (built in 1897) cool in summer and warm in winter. When I first needed HVAC work (ductless mini-split installation), I got wildly different estimates from seven contractors. Some flat-out refused the job because of the attic challenges. Tracy and Von at Comfy Cave were the only ones who came up with a practical solution at a reasonable price. Since then, every interaction has been solid. Dawn and Janelle handle analysis and dispatch efficiently, and the technicians have consistently been professional and straightforward. Most recently, Carl and Chris saved me thousands by replacing a motor instead of pushing a full system replacement. That says everything. This company looks out for its clients and maintains equipment properly over the long haul. Highly recommended.

We have been a customer of Comfy Cave since 2017. They installed a brand new HVAC system then. At the time, their pricing was fair and reasonable. Some other " bigger outfits" were quoting many thousands more for the same exact systems. It pays to get quotes. Since then they have done anual routine maintenance. Recently we had a blower go bad. Luckily it was under warranty. Chris, with the company, did a great job. Chris took the time to check on the warranty. I assumed the warranty time had passed. He was timely (furnace broke on a Saturday) professional, friendly and communicated well. Chris fixed the issue as quickly as possible and I really appreciated that given the freezing temps at night. Von, the owner, is ethical, friendly and responsive. I recommend Comfy Cave highly!!

Had an issue with thermostat not synching with radiant heat. Took some time but Carl and Travis tracked down the problem and fixed the issue. They worked together well and were clearly knowledgeable about my heating system. We've used Comfy Cave for eight years for repairs and maintenance and they've always come through and prices are fair. Highly recommend.
