Very happy with the sales and service of a new 2-stage 100K BTU Trane furnace I purchased from Chaves in January 2026. Another HVAC company, Papalia, quoted the same furnace power for the same price (neither was aware of the other price) but the Chaves quote was more transparent (listed the furnace type and specs), had more features (e.g., 2-stage vs 1-stage burner, modern zone control panel, and continuous load bypass damper), and was more compliant with town codes (e.g., upgrade of exhaust to current PVC standard that the other quote did not have). There were some minor issues with the furnace post installation, but Chaves came out promptly, fixed the problem, and in the course of doing so upgraded a few minor things at no cost to me to make it work better (e.g., needed to add a dedicated transformer for the humidifier to be compatible with the new furnace variable speed fan). How contractors handle problems is the best indicator of a strong organization. This is a strong company!
