Customer service is horrible!! I pay for the most expensive plan and get nothing in return. The answering machine for after hours emergencies states someone will a call you back within an hour. The service person who spoke to me was very unprofessional. He told me that my A/C problem was not an emergency because it was a clogged drain. However, he never looked at my unit! I was without my air conditioner for a day and half. When the technician did arrive it turned out to be a blown fuse, but he never checked what caused it to blow. When he left my A/C unit worked for a few hours and then stopped working. I called the after hours number again and the machine said someone would contact me within a hour. That didn’t happen. So I called a local repair company to come out to fix it. The fuse had blown again and it was due some wires being clipped by the outside unit. Today, August 4th I spoke a customer service representative who informed me they would not reimburse me for after hours service, that corporate was in charge of the answering machine and after hours service was not a guarantee. We live in Florida!! Being without air conditioning in 100 plus degrees is a nightmare. I pay about $845 dollars a year and have used the service twice.
The service has gone to crap!! I have been with them for close 10 years and since they closed the local Jacksonville office, it's been terrible. There has not been one appliance service call that has ended with an actual repair being completed. Same Tech comes out multiple times, diagnosing a different issue each time he comes back and then after 2, 3 ,4 times of coming out, they say if can't be repaired and I need a new one! It ridiculous. When I asked for the write up of the diagnosis, office refuses to email it. It used to be a great warranty company, now it's a waste of dollars. Too bad but that's what service has come to now a days.
Their service is sub par now. The manager, Steve is aggressive and loud and doesn't try to work with you. He said well you only have 2 weeks left on your contract when I requested help. The repairman had come and made a repair to the fan on my AC and never checked anything else. I called back and asked for him to come back and he came to the back garage door. I never heard him. I asked for him to come to the front door since there was no AC for 4 days. Steve offered me to call somebody else to come fix my AC and they would give me $150. Or else I had to wait till next Monday. This was Thursday. I cancelled my contract. Poor service, manager and attitude and communication. Repairman spoke broken English I couldn't understand. Terrible!!!
