Who gets excited about a new driveway & sidewalk?. Well I would have never imagined it would be me! Better Concrete did an amazing job from start to finish and beyond! We were impressed with Taylor upon our first visit. He knows this business! And Mike the owner, was great to work with as well. Taylor was on the job everyday. Mike was here for the pour, not just to observe but he was right in there working alongside his employees, he also came by after to make sure everything was as it should be. Everyone was respectful and they cleaned up everything very well. Our pour was Oct. 31. I was concerned for the trick-or-treaters. The crew was on it and did a nice job of securing the area around the driveway so no littles would hurt themselves or the newly poured concrete. I had a fantastic experience with Better Concrete. I needed a new driveway and spent several weeks getting different bids and talking with different contractors before choosing Mike w/ Better Concrete. There might be cheaper companies out there, but I don’t think you’ll find better. Mike’s been doing this since 1991 and he knows exactly what he’s doing. He handled everything … permits, city inspections, all of it … which made the whole process easy on my end. I never felt like I was chasing down answers or trying to figure things out on my own. Jesse and Taylor ran the job and have both been with Mike for more than 20 years. They showed up when they said they would, let me know the plan for each day, and did exactly what they promised. I appreciated that they took the time to answer all my questions and explain things along the way. From start to finish, it was smooth and straightforward. If you want the job done right and don’t want to worry about surprises, I’d definitely recommend Better Concrete.

We could not be happier with the work done by Better Concrete Construction Company (BCCC) and would highly recommend them to anyone needing concrete work done for their home. The driveway on our 23-year-old house was in such bad shape that we needed to replace it. We chose BCCC because of their reputation and guarantee. It took some time between signing the estimate and having the work done because they are in such high demand, but it was worth the wait. The work was completed in 2 and a half days. The crew was polite and professional, and the finished work was exceptional. Our driveway, which had been both dangerous and an eyesore, was replaced by a beautiful new one that immediately drew praise from our neighbors. The finished driveway wasn't just good-looking—their motto "Professionally Engineered Concrete" rang true. They took special care with the ground that had settled by installing a firm base. They attached plenty of rebar to connect the driveway to the garage floor to prevent future sinking. They used smaller slab panels—three across instead of two—to prevent cracking. Finally, the sides of the driveway extended all the way to the ground with none of the base exposed. One last detail: we had a downspout buried and rerouted into the yard, which previously had drained onto the driveway. After the job was completed, we discovered that the exit for the new drain was set too low and would have been buried when we regraded our lawn. After contacting BCCC, a supervisor came to our house and fixed the issue at no additional charge. I believe this shows their attention to detail and commitment to customer service.
