We had B&M Electric install a fan and a chandelier, and they were incredible to work with. Rizal Smith arrived right on time for our quote, and as soon as our fan arrived, he was able to book us for the very next day. He was extremely professional, efficient, and timely — which is such a rare quality these days when it comes to home projects. The work was done beautifully, and we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend!
B & M was quick to respond to my non-emergency call. Technician Adam was great, he answered all my questions. Provided me with a clear plan of how best to fix our electrical problem and then was able to fix it quickly. Prices were affordable as well. Will definitely call them again if I experience more electrical issues in the future.
UPDATE 9/3/25 1902 Final review after job completion. Since my last review, I have been very transparent about my frustration and disappointment, and even though the work progress and communication took many unexpected turns, I feel at the very least, good credits have to be given when it is due. Pros: -Owner of B&M Electric, Charles Vargas, have been very responsive and accountable. In my book, this is very respectable as it is difficult to find a company with these values nowadays. -Technician Rizal Smith was pleasant, experienced, and informative during the initial assessment and provided thorough evaluation. -They don't take short cuts. The receptacle used was an EV specific charger which decreases the chance of melting. Installation was solid, appropriate outdoor outlet cover was used. The overall apparatus feels well put together and is holding up well without issue thus far. Cons: -Initial contract was for a same day installation, however due to a missing component, the installation took 7 days to complete. After discussion, Charles ended up compensating for the time lost, which is respectable. -Estimate was higher than competitors, but of note, they favored quality materials and took no short cuts. -Fragmented communications. If a response or update was promised to be delivered at a certain time frame, it should be. This is inexcusable. Overall, even though the whole installation process took a week alongside my frustration with poor communication and having to hold their team accountable on a daily basis for updates, I find it very respectable that the owner was responsive, accountable for their faults, and took initiative to compensate for my time lost. Through our conversations, I can tell he takes pride in his company and truly cares about his business. Also kudos for a knowledgeable technician who didn't take short cuts and got the job done right. Thank you, B&M Electric.
