Hello, I’m giving one star solely because of the person driving your company van today. What I saw wasn’t just bad driving — it was blatantly reckless and showed a shocking disregard for everyone else on the road. This driver cut me off twice and then forced me completely out of my lane during a left turn because they couldn’t be bothered to stay in theirs. This wasn’t a slip-up or a moment of inattention. It was the kind of aggressive, entitled driving that puts people in the hospital. No one representing any company should be operating a vehicle like that — ever. To be absolutely clear: I’m not criticizing your business or your services. I’m calling out a single driver whose choices made the road meaningfully more dangerous for everyone around them. There are families and children in those cars. There is zero excuse for this. I genuinely hope you take this seriously, because if this is how they drive, it’s only a matter of time before someone gets hurt.
Otis was awesome!! He spent a lot of time correcting an issue with our Google nest thermostat that his company did not sell us, his company did not install, and it was not his responsibility. However, he corrected an issue that was causing our electric bill to almost triple. I’ve had Appel heating and cooling maintain my systems for years. They are locally owned, customer focused company. They listen to you, they answer the phone, they respond quickly, and they show up on time! I would not recommend anyone else!!
Appel is an excellent provider: responsive, customer focused and reasonably priced. Our recent project - a new furnace - mirrored past experience with knowledgable and friendly techs who arrived on time and worked efficiently. Nate Evans who provided the initial guidance on what system to use impressed as with his earlier recommendations (for a somewhat tricky project in our older house that has some obvious limitations) and again came up with good ideas and a furnace that would meet our needs and budget. A great quality company overall.
