The circuit breaker had popped, but when I flipped it back on the power didn't come back on. That was the extent of my electrical know-how. I actually replaced the breaker as a hail Mary prayer to try and fix it, but that didn't do anything. I found The Wire Guys on Offer Up. Short version: they fixed everything. I got a bill. I thought for sure they had made a mistake because it was far far less than I expected, so I called them to fix it. I told them if that was the correct price, I wanted them to text me links to everywhere they wanted me to leave a review. It was correct and now I'm leaving this review. I could not believe that the young guy I had been dealing with was the owner. What a great thing to see, someone that age making good money and doing a damn good job at it. I have since referred my sister to them so they could diagnose and fix the awful job her electrician did (that resulted in a small fire) and she was super happy with them as well. I'm leaving this review about 8 months after the fact, but good karma is always welcome, so that's what I'm creating here. The time window was 10โ€“12, and the electrician Rhett called when he was on his way and arrived right at 10:00. Rhett was polite, personable, and very knowledgeable. I explained what I needed, and he quickly assessed the situation and started working right away. He even took the time to look at what had been left on top of the cabinets by a previous owner and found a way to use what was already there. Because he didnโ€™t have to fish a wire through the wall, it actually saved me moneyโ€”which I really appreciated.
