They only sent a cable kit for one limb of the tree despite there being two over the house. Their own crew said it needed 2 to be safe. When I contacted them to get them to come out and finish the job, they said the quote was only for one cable. I specifically chose this company because their quote was more affordable but apparently they left out part of the job and then tried to charge me over $500 extra to finish it. If I had known that, I would have gone with another company. I tried to contact them to discuss it but they would not call or email me back other than the guy who did the quote who claimed he was only told to “make the house safe” and since the second branch more was over the kitchen addition, breezeway, and garage he said he didn’t include the second branch in the quote. Please note these are all one continuous unit, it’s not like the garage was stand-alone and 100ft away, they are all connected. He would not allow me to talk to anyone else despite me asking and also calling the office and emailing them. It’s been over a week and no one has contacted me back. They also damaged my yard both with hydraulic fluid leaks from their truck that killed patches of grass and by dropping huge pieces of tree down into a wet lawn. It looks pretty awful with the dead grass and mud and there are big holes where the limbs hit. I tried to resolve this with them but cannot get anyone to contact me back. I would not recommend this company. Go with someone else who gives an honest full quote and doesn’t bait and switch to get the business. They were not responsive before, during, or after the job. I had to call repeatedly to get an idea of when they would be coming out and then coming back to finish the work. Their crews were nice, that’s about the best I can say about this experience. Update: I did hear back from Mike who was apologetic and they did come do a little work on some of the holes in my yard about a week later (will update pictures). Waiting for the cable issue to be fully resolved but communication has improved. Update 2: it’s been almost six weeks since the initial job and they did come back last week and cabled the second tree limb without charging me extra. They also did some more work on repairing the lawn. Still waiting for the grass to grow in but hopeful it will be looking better soon. Thanks to Mike for working to resolve this issue. - 5/5 — Anonymous Their well coordinated team came to my home yesterday and truly wow'd us with their expertise taking down two very tall forest growth trees close to my house. They took great care and were done, cleaned up, and gone in well under 3 hours. We requested that the usable wood be left in manageable pieces for us to process and they neatly cleaned up everything else. It was amazing to watch their techniques for safety lowering enormous branches and bringing down the huge trunks flawlessly. They really impressed us and did it at a very reasonable and competitive price ( we had 4 other quotes).
