I found this place on Google when I searched for places to see whales from shore. This was my first stop. It took about 30 minutes but sure enough you could see some whales in the distance. I got my drone out and was able to capture them. Because I was on a schedule I had to hurry to my next place. But I had to come back here before I left. And I'm so glad I did. I got the most amazing footage.

Saw a few whales in the water... Some boards may need repair but it was an amazing trek down to the shoreline

Great spot for seeing eagles! Right by the sea saw some good views, lots of slugs everywhere! Very mild walking path so good for light walking exercise.

Pretty views from the parking lot in a gazebo with a telescope, or take the beautiful wooden stairs down to another viewing point closer to the water, or follow a wooden walkway to even more gazebo viewing points.

Perfect quiet spot away from the cruise traffic to just hang out all day and enjoy the water. There are rocks you can sit on or you can just walk a short boardwalk along the water.
