I contacted Warder to see if they could assess the damage. After speaking with Shane Warder that day he took his team off their jobs for an emergency call to immediately begin assessing the damage. I am thankful for his prompt response as they discovered a multitude of issues that resulted from the surge and this created dangerous issues with my panel, wires, and the surge caused multiple appliance failures. They worked several days to complete the work to ensure my home was safe and not at risk for further damage. The crew worked long hours to verify everything was safe, were helpful, and did excellent work. The project included installation of a 48KW Generac standby generator, replacing virtually all our incandescent and halogen lights with contemporary LED lighting, and upgrading our outdoor landscape lighting. They arrived on time with a 2 person team. My house has finished basement and most work/time was 'fishing' the wire from downstairs to upstairs. No installation of the microwave required (as my family is using a countertop style microwave). Warder Electric was upfront about the job/cost and worked with me for an hourly fee (e.i. wire time was a slight unknown). The work was finished quicker than estimated and all cleaned up perfectly.
