We were switching over a few appliances from electrical to NG, including an on demand water heater. There was quite a bit of rocky start with an employee who was misquoting costs and services offered (they ended up leaving the company without any notice to us, resulting in me emailing a dead line for a few weeks).

That said, the employee who stepped in to pick up the dropped ball, Alesha, came through in a big way! She is absolutely amazing; took the time to understand what had happened and was an overall absolute pleasure to work with. She attentively addressed all of our concerns with enthusiasm and energy that was palpable even through email correspondence. I cant recall the last time I had been on the receiving end of such advocacy, what a nice feeling!

The date of service, the technicians arrived within the expected window, were able to finish ahead of schedule and even were conscientious about closing doors while not in use to keep the warmth in - not the SOP I'm used to. To top it off, both were friendly and wonderful to interact with.

A rocky start to smooth sailing. VGS did everything, other than traveling back in time, to make things right and get our ODWH installed - successfully putting this project in the rear view mirror.

A very genuine thank you :)

Just had VT Gas tech Dan do the gas inspection that the city requires. Over the last 10 years he has been here a few times & each visit I think the same thing…the world needs more professionals like Dan. He’s polite, patient, explains things in an easy to understand manner & bonus points for having a dry, but awesome sense of humor.

Hey VT Gas, whatever you’re paying this guy he deserves a raise.

Thanks again Dan!

  Vermont Gas Systems - VGS
I have been working with VGS for years for my rental units and residence and have found them to be courteous, professional and dependable. There have been some hiccups along the way, but they always were resolved in everyone's best interest. In the past several weeks I have had two major problems with heating units in two separate rental properties. Knowing that this frigid weather has created endless numbers of problems for people and that this must be an impossible time for VGS I called fearing the worst. In this particular case Alesha Kendall answered my call, she was very pleasant, knowledgeable and willing to do what she could, which she did. She also kept me informed to when a service person would be able to come and even called me at home at night to confirm the time. I really wanted to reach out and thank Alesha and all the VGS employees for the wonderful service they are providing under the harshest of circumstances. The pressure this winter, and always has got to be over the top, and I found the service to be the same. Thank you VGS. Ron Siegriest

Alicia K. was great to work with. She was cheerful and extremely helpful in facilitating a timely gas turn on for my elderly mothers new furnace. She called back when she said she would, and she followed up with the HVAC contractor to ensure coordination.
