  Its been about 2 months since Universal came by and mounted our TV on the wall for us. I can say I'm somewhat satisfied. The TV works perfectly, its installed level and is spaced perfectly above our fireplace. My issue is my cable box. when the tech guy came in I told him that I wanted the cable box installed in a book shelf next to the fireplace. Granted, I had not assembled the bookshelf yet, but i told the tech guy that it would be done in two days(it was). I scheduled him to come back four days later.
On his second visit, the cabinet was installed but the tech guy hesitated to install the box in the cabinet. He stated that the cable wasn't long enough and that he didn't bring any cable with him. (how do you do a TV install and not bring cable with you? He asked me if I had any spare cable around. (BTW- I live a mile and a half from their shop) he explained to me that a lot of people have the box installed behind the TV and it works just fine. This seemed logical at the time and I wanted the job done.
After giving it some thought, I have started to become concerned. What happens if the cable box goes out? (we have had this happen) I'm 67 years old. I will have to climb a ladder and try to work the box out from behind the tv, disconnect all the wires and then reinstall when the new box is here. I thought that the box would slide into a mounting bracket on the back but its just shoved in there.
So again. I'm somewhat satisfied but I think they should listen to their customers.
