I had a check written out ready to pay when they gave a final amount due. They left the jobsite with no contact. About 7 weeks later we get an email with the invoice of amount due with due date listed the same date with the option of paying online (with a $25.00 processing fee). I refuse to pay extra just to pay them, so I mailed my check (dated when the original job was finished) to them. Later I noticed that another email arrived at 6:24 the morning after the original invoice was sent stating that they had noticed that our bill had not yet been paid. This occurred less than 24 hours after receiving the original bill 7 weeks after the job was finished with no communication between those times.
