Nick from Sundial Solar was awesome! He showed up right on time, was super knowledgeable, and had my 80amp Ford Power Pro charger installed in under 2 hours. The whole experience felt easy and professional from start to finish. Big thanks to Sundial Solar and Q-Merit for making home EV charging a breeze!

And the best part? I didn’t pay a dime. Ford’s Power Promise covers the charger and installation completely free when you buy a new EV—like my Ford Lightning! It only took 2–3 weeks from my truck purchase to a fully installed charger. If you’re getting a Mustang Mach-E, Lightning, or E-Transit, make sure to ask about it!

The installation team was fantastic. The Tesla batteries were a game changer the first time we lost power. The system worked so well we didn’t even know we had lost power until the Tesla app on my phone notified me.
Sadly getting them scheduled to do the installation was a huge hassle. Appointment was cancelled multiple times. I kept changing my schedule to accommodate them and they would cancel at the last second.

Where to begin with this company. I was planning on letting this go, but since they just sent me an email soliciting a review, I suppose I should leave one.

We'll start with the only positive. The install team led by Ben Bell was great. Explained things well, showed up when he said he would, and did the work he said he would do. This is the only reason for the 2 star rating.

Everything else, a disaster. The communication out of this company is, frankly, terrible. There is a clear disconnect between the sales team, the office team, and the installers. No one talks to anyone. The project manager Javier is the most egregious offender. I was told many times, from multiple people, that he would call me to address the litany of issues that happened during install. Not once did I ever hear from this guy. Not once was I ever proactively kept informed on progress or solutions to problems.

When I brought my list of grievances to the president of the company, his response was 'thats kind of your fault' for half of my concerns, and 'well it got done eventually so we did great' for the rest, with a little bit of whataboutism concerning other companies not being as good as his own. I cannot believe he was ultimately satisfied with the way his company performed. And even if he was just pleased with how everything ended (he did get paid after all), just like, show some fake contrition anyway so people don't write negative reviews; this is business 101.

I was recommended this company originally, specifically because of their supposed stellar communication, but my experience has been the exact opposite. I have told many people already not to use this company, and if you are considering them, I would recommend finding a different company for your solar needs, as the very amateur level organization at Sundial leaves a lot to be desired.

This could have all been chalked up to an overworked staff trying to beat the tax credit buzzer...right up until the president defended all their actions. This shows me that it's a company culture problem, and not an individual issue.

I was hugely disappointed that installers who were supposed to arrive between 10-2 arrived at 4 destroying my day. However I was totally pleased with the two installers and the work they did. The care and competence they showed was 5+. When you read this please understand I am in rural Vermont. Which makes appointment time difficult for companies. I just wish there was better communication and some form of apology.

Fuat and his installation team were very professional during the installation of our 31 panel, 12 kW rooftop array. After talking with 10 total solar installers at both the national, regional, and local level I knew what I wanted when I called Fuat. He was straightforward with me and gave me a good price. He was also communicative throughout the process and kept me informed on delays that were outside his control, like from the town or Eversource. Our system has been operational for 3 months no with no issues. Highly recommended!
