They installed a freestanding wood stove for me including a chimney. The installers did a great job, it looks fantastic. They were super professional, clean (they put down cardboard over everything & used a shop vac to clean up) & their experience shows. Very happy & highly recommend this business!

I called to have my stove cleaned up after Winter. We set up an appointment and I spelled out my name. On the day I was supposed to have a cleaning, I came home to filthy dust all over the floor and the stove was not cleaned. However, there was a piece of paper and a screen left on my table. So I was like what the heck and checked my camera. The guy opened up the door of the stove closed it then went outside removed the screen and came back inside and turned the stove on. Stood there for 5 minutes and then placed the screen and paper on the table and left. When I got the bill it was under a complete different name a Jessica Colaige. I was like I don't know who this is. So I called and left a message about how dissatisfied I was. Followed up the next week when I didn't hear from anyone and again ( attempted at least 10 times) never got a response. Then I got a threatening message Left on my phone. I attempted to call the office and it went to voicemail again so I left another message. Still no response until I got something from them in certified mail saying if I didn't pay 145.00 I would be forcing them to bring me to court. What I expected was a cleaning what I got was nothing but hassle and threats because there was no followup to rectify the problem. I refuse to pay for a service that was not provided. Also, there is no payment feature on their website you have to call and give your personal information to someone on the phone who knows what they will do with it. Misplace it or better yet not spell it correctly and harass me to pay. It was the only time I heard from them. What customer service.

My family purchased a Green Mountain Daniel Boon pellet grill for me as a present from Joe at the North Clarendon, VT Stove Depot. My wife said Joe was extremely helpful in helping her choose the grill that was right for our grilling needs.

When we picked up the grill and assembled it the grill had an issue with the auger and wouldn't feed pellets into the burn chamber. I called and spoke with Joe, he told me they would exchange the grill with a new one. They drove 30 miles, delivered the new grill and took the old one with them.

This was an outstanding experience from the purchase to the customer service. I would highly recommend the North Clarendon Stove Depot to anyone.

I bought a Green Mountain Grill from the store 6 months ago. In talking with the salesman they pushed the advantages of buying the grill from a distributor like them rather than a Traeger through the mail. Here we are 6 months later and the grill doesn’t work. I called 3 weeks ago and scheduled a repair appointment. They confirmed the appointment and then NO ONE SHOWED UP.

I called the store and they confirmed the repair man was supposed to show up. They then called back and said they would not service them grill. THEY WOULD NOT HELP A CUSTOMER.

This is most unbelievable since they confirmed the appointment 3 weeks before!! It ruined my plans to smoke a Thanksgiving Turkey.

They also would not take a return of the grill since they wouldn’t repair it.

They said they had no plans to stand behind the product and wouldn’t help me. Thank god I am not working with them with something more important like my pellet stove to keep warm.

NOT SOMEONE TO DO BUSINESS WITH IN A COMMUNITY FILLED WITH SO MANY FINE BUSINESSES.
