We had Nick install new baseboards and mouldings a couple of years ago. To each job, he brings an attention to detail, strong time and project management as well as daily and on-going communication. Our most recent project with Nick was a complete kitchen reno. Nick provided much appreciated guidance with the many details along the way, leaving the final decisions to us. The "showpiece" in our kitchen is the custom walk-in pantry. This pantry was a project in and of itself. It was almost a "pipe dream" but somehow Nick made it work. The quality of workmanship and the finishing of both the inside and outside makes us smile each and every day. Other highlights include but are not limited to: meticulous detail in ensuring ceiling seams disappeared following the removal of a wall, adapting the design to accommodate an oversized window and liaising and pointing out some "workarounds" with the subcontractors that were required to ensure full use of our space. Nick brings skill, expertise and loads of experience to his projects. We had a gorgeous timbertech deck built by Nick with very modern glass enclosures / railings and gate. The deck is now 4 years old and still looks brand new and the quality of workmanship is the envy of our neighbours ( no maintenance). Sitka moved inside a year later and tiled our laundry room and upstairs guest bathroom with all the trimmings . Once again the quality of work was exemplary. Recently we had Nick back to modernize our kitchen installing a beautiful new glass backsplash which looks terrific. I could go on and on about the quality of work but what impressed me the most was the demeanor and positive attitude of Nick. He worked closely with us on every detail and explained exactly what he'd be doing and how long it would take. It's always nice as a client to have a perfectionist like Nick doing skilled work in your home. In closing, it's Sitka's personal approach and cleanliness that stood out.
