Hurricane Helene not only knocked out our power but also zapped a part of our AC unit. Calling Scott Air was so refreshing because they sympathetic and took our concerns seriously. They sent out a technician promptly and he was able to get us up and running that day, and the cost of everything was realistic and affordable. They did not take advantage of us and we can't say enough good things about this company. We have been using them for four years and whether for maintenance or service calls they always have been available within 24 hours and many times same day. Case in point, we arrived home at 6pm to AC not working. Called answering service and heard back within 5 minutes from Leslie, the friendliest office manager ever. Scheduled for next day, went out for a bit, came back and a Scott Air business card on our door saying they had been in my neighborhood and stopped on way home to see if they could do the repair. Called the # on the business card and service tech said he was still in the area(it's now 7:00PM) and would come back. He came and 20 minute later repair made. Let’s face it, when the AC goes down its stressful and never good news. My central air system was 16+ years old and basically dead. They came out on time to see if they could revive it and we determined that it was time to replace the whole thing. They had a very competitive quote for me in 15 minutes during that same visit. An hour later they had me approved for 18 months same as cash financing (easy peasy) right on the phone. 30 minutes after that they scheduled the install of the new system for the next day. So… that morning they showed up exactly on time at 9am as promised. Their techs were right on it, and knew exactly what they were doing. They even fixed a few things that we not up to snuff from the original install back when this place was built. Three hours later they were done and done! Signed the work order and they were out. Couldn’t be more smooth, hassle free, and straight forward. Now my place is cool and comfortable and it wasn’t stressful at all. Thanks Scott Air… you guys are awesome! I cancelled service i had arrange with another company because for a couple of weeks they were evasive when i called to ask when a repair part they had ordered would be delivered. Scoot Air came out the day after i called to request the service, and discovered the other company had totally misdiagnosed the problem.
