  I had a really frustrating experience with this company today. I scheduled an appointment to get a quote for installing an under-the-sink reverse osmosis (RO) system. The technician who came out clearly wasn’t familiar with RO installations. He stated that the install would be difficult because there were no holes on the counter for the faucet. I pointed out the two existing capped holes in my granite countertop (which are clearly visible) and told him those were meant for the faucet.

He took pictures said he was going outside to “get pricing” and never came back. Instead, I received a call from the office saying they couldn’t do the install because there were no holes in the granite which is completely untrue. I have no idea what photos he sent the office, but I had explicitly told him and showed him the capped holes. The rep on the phone said she looked at the pictures and didn’t see any holes, even though I clearly have two rusted metal covers over them.

To make matters worse, I told the tech I didn’t want to open the RO box unless the install cost was reasonable—if it was too high, I planned to return it. But he insisted on seeing it, so we opened the box for nothing since he didn’t even touch the contents.

When I called the office back upset, they offered to send someone “more experienced” the next day. I told them I didn’t want to waste their time or mine if the cost was out of range. They quoted me $300, which is higher than a couple of quotes I had already received.

There’s no way I’m paying more to a company that wasted my time, miscommunicated internally, and didn’t seem to value my concerns. Definitely not the professional experience I was expecting.

  TLDR: They left a plug in my garbage disposal, flooded the kitchen, and then ghosted me for four months with the excuse that "the owner is on vacation."

Earlier this year I hired Sal's Plumbing for a basic garbage disposal replacement. Initial service was great and the plumber had no issues or concerns installing a new disposal-- until months later, when the kitchen flooded because a knockout plug had been left in the disposal where the drain attached causing a backup. Another plumber diagnosed and solved it in minutes.

I gave Sal's every chance to make it right: four months of polite calls and emails. Instead of accountability or a simple reply, I got radio silence and the world's longest out of office story.

Bottom line: sloppy mistake, zero follow-up or customer service. I'd still welcome a fair resolution if they ever decide to respond -- but until then, I can't recommend them.
