In early September, 2025 we decided to have Roadrunner AC,Heat, & Plumbing install a mini-split heating and cooling unit in our open floor plan living area in our cabin in Angel Fire NM. We worked out an installation date when we would be here and the staff did an exceptionally professional job in the installation and clean-up. We were very impressed with the entire process from Tim coming to the cabin to evaluate our needs to the actual installation by Joel and his team.

When we arrived at the cabin a few days before the scheduled mini-split installation we noticed that we did not have any hot water and determined our boiler unit was leaking and the display was on, "the red screen of death"! We tried for a couple of days to get a local HVAC company to evaluate what we needed and could not receive a call back from anyone! I recalled the info I had seen on the Roadrunner website regarding boiler installation and maintenance so thought I would see if they would call me back. AND THEY DID!!! Justin called me back on a late Friday afternoon and we did a FaceTime call where I could show him what we were dealing with. He was able to correctly identify the problem and give us the bad news that the unit would need to be replaced. He worked up a proposal and we accepted the proposal the next day. Installation dates were not favorable to our need to get hot water and heat to our cabin. Luckily, on Monday evening we received a text from Justin letting us know they had a cancellation for tomorrow, Tuesday, September 16, 2025. We jumped on the opportunity!!!

The installation is usually a two day installation but understanding our need to get heat and hot water, and their desire to get back to their homes in Sante Fe, both Justin and Reuben worked until around 8 pm that evening to get the installation completed in 1 day AND to our satisfaction. Never once did they complain when this old man was looking over their shoulders trying to understand what they were doing! Professionals all-day long just like everyone we have had the pleasure of working with at Roadrunner.

I would recommend Roadrunner Air Conditioning Heating & Plumbing to anyone interested in dealing with exceptional quality and professionalism. Great people.

And I can't forget to give kudos to Michaela who coordinated all of these moving parts to perfection!!! Another star at Roadrunner.

Blessings to all,
Dane & Kathy Williams

Reliable and efficient. These are the 2 words I'd choose to describe Roadrunner's Maintenance Program. Two words for the technicians, Gus and Mauri, who performed the work: friendly and knowledgeable. From a quick booking process to scheduling timely service to actually having the work done, I have nothing but good things to say about Roadrunner. My mini-split system is humming away and happy again.

So you’re considering a new heat pump system for your home. Look no further than Roadrunner’s Tim Sabean. He is the most knowledgable, trustworthy and professional expert you will find!

And if you stump him with a question, not to worry...he just calls his Dad in Pennsylvania, who’s been in the HVAC business for decades. And if you’re extra lucky like Bill was, Tim put him on a 3-way call with his Dad to find the answers.

Even after Bill ordered the new Heat Pump System for his house, Tim still showed up to oversee the installation, making sure all work was according to his customized design.

Make sure you ask for Tim when you’re ready to begin learning about the new Heat Pump System for your house! I guarantee you’ll never regret the decision!

A HUGE PLUS: the Roadrunner installation crew for our new Heat Pump System was nothing short of phenomenal!! Mauri and Alcides bravely entered the house the first day, even as Kendra, our vigilant black lab, barked warning reminders for them to behave while in “her” house. They navigated my disheveled office that was in the throes of disorganization in order to install the heat pump in the most cluttered corner without one complaint.

They were at our house every day for a week and right in the middle, when they were scheduled to work outside, a cold front hit. For two days, they were up on the roof in the rain, sleet and snow. I asked them if they had agreed to the postal workers creed, and they assured me that they were just fine. I offered them wool caps and they laughed at me. They were well prepared with multiple layers of clothing and completed all of the required connections.

I know this, because on the last day, when they turned on the system to give us our first demo, it worked perfectly. Within minutes, they practically froze us out showing us how the air conditioning feature worked. Then almost as quickly, they demonstrated how we change the mode to heat and we found ourselves at a comfy inside temperature during the last day of our prematurely ending winter.

The last two days of the week, Horacio joined Mauri and Alcides and each of them displayed a strong work ethic, great sense of humor and was very kind, even through Kendra’s occasional outbursts.

And lastly, you’ll want to request Mauri for your first tutorial on “how” your new Heat Pump System functions. He was patient as we two seniors grappled with learning how yet another remote control works. He was great!

P.S. On a separate note: What a dedicated employee Alcides is! He had to leave the hot water heater vent in a temporary state at the end of one work day. Then when he returned the next day to correct it, he shared that he’d had a nightmare during the night that the hot water heater had exploded due to not being completed correctly. Now “that’s” what I call a committed and faithful worker!! I wonder if the Roadrunner management team realize his extraordinary value?!

I'd also rate all of them with 10 Stars instead of 5!!!!!

We had Roadrunner take care of a number of issues with my Mom's home in New Mexico: The house needed a new main shutoff valve put in an easier spot to reach; a new hot water heater and a revised recirculation line (with a pump) going from the back of the house to the front. In addition, we needed to get rid of a now defuct 400lb solar hot water tank in a front closet (see pictures). The Roadrunner plumbers, Tommy T and Justin M, were efficient and courteous, and were also sleuths of a sort, sorting out previous plumbing work. They discovered that the old cast Iron sewer line had major cracks (and leaks) and they replaced that, too. As you can imagine the expense for all this was substantial, but now we have the house's plumbing dialed in for another decade and my mom can get hot water to her kitchen sink much faster. I would recommend these guys.

We had two jobs, one was a yard hydrant replacement and a mini split replacement. The crew was so nice and professional. From start to finish they were so helpful and answered every question. I would highly recommend Roadrunner. I would also like to thank the crew for the outstanding work.
Mauri, Alcides, Justin M and Justin C were all great. Your hard work is greatly appreciated!!! I would also like to say thank you to Jason our project manager.
