Working with Queen City Plumbing was extremely challenging, mostly due to a dysfunctional office team. The office manager seldom responds to emails - most of my emails to them received no response. Their office phone was never answered. The only way I could successfully reach them was by calling the office manager on his cell phone - every time I reached him he claimed he was "not in the office" and would respond to my requests when he returned to the office. Of course he never did.

The plumbing work itself was also disappointing. The initial job was not finished on the originally scheduled date, with no return date scheduled. I had to reach out to get the follow-up date set. When the job was finally finished, there were multiple leaks. Due to poor office management, it took weeks to get a follow-up visit scheduled. And then when the day finally came, they no-showed without calling to reschedule. They ultimately finished the job, but not without me holding their hand through the entire process.

If there was anything positive about this experience, the pricing was great. But, you get what you pay for.

I hired Queen City Plumbing & Heating for a bathroom in a basement and they delivered a great experience to us. Workers were quiet and respectful, quality of work was good and they came on time. I recommend, trustworthy people.

Jim did awesome and was professional. I had a kitchen sink clog that I tried a auger on myself to no avail. I let Jim know what I had tried and showed him the other end of the pipe(half of which is inaccessible behind dry wall). He tried an auger himself quickly to see if he could save me some money before going to the more dramatic measure of replacing pipe where it is accessible and using the auger from the other end. The old pipe was cast iron and very old and I knew it was going to be replaced at some point so we inevitably went that route! He showed me the old pipe (thick clog for all 3 feet of pipe) and he had to work in a rather tight space but got it done quickly with no complaints! Pics attached of the post job piping. I would gladly use them again! Thanks Jim!

Due to the cold weather a pipe in my dad’s house burst. I found them on line, and read the reviews, and contacted them on line. I received an email later that day saying that they could have someone out the next day. Monday morning, they called and gave us a time frame. They showed up, took a look gave me an estimate and got to work quickly. The pipe was fixed quickly. They thanked my dad for his service, verbally. (He a Vietnam Veteran, and remembers well how they were treated, so this means a lot to him )They also gave a discount for his service. . When his house needs a plumber I know who to call.

I had a kitchen sink that needed to be replaced and the only options from Queen City was a $350 Kohler instead of replacing the $80-$100 Glacier Bay. It would have been $100 in hourly rate to send the tech to Home Depot to get one. I was very disappointed in Queen City arriving to the job with a very high end replacement. The only other option was a basic sink faucet, which I didn't want to completely downgrade my tenants sink and be a cheapskate landlord. I guess it's my fault for not prr purchasing the faucet I wanted ahead of time, but I didn't know it needed to be fully replaced until the tech was there. I'm just disappointed, everything else was fine. If I use Queen City again it will only be out of an emergency where I can't fina anyone else.
