Honest, clear communication, punctual and tidy(no mess) but also flexible and pretty friendly. Originally recommended by a friend I've kept coming back to Michael, especially after a couple questionable experiences with seemingly more convenient nearby plumbers (with “great yelp reviews”..) - 5/5 — Anonymous Michael Denis of Plumbing Marina del Rey just did a great job of replacing an existing pedestal sink with a “floating” vanity/sink in our downstairs half-bath. The project turned out to be far more complex than anticipated due mainly to a mismatch between our 60 year-old townhouse plumbing and restrictive internal configuration of the vanity we’d ordered. Michael had to revise our water supply and drain lines to fit the vanity’s internal dimensions. Michael had to solve multiple plumbing problems as well as “handyman” type installation issues, and together with his assistant, Felix, used skills in metal cutting, plumbing design and assembly, drywall and painting. He was professional, efficient, and got the job done right away. We were undergoing renovations to all of our bathrooms and kitchen. To sum it up, the workmanship was poor and led to many stressful problems. We hired Michael from a corporate referral to replace our botched newly installed kitchen sink. He painstakingly solved the problem of the previous bad installation and finished the new kitchen sink to what we had envisioned for our home. Later that day, our ‘former’ GC, tried to replace our shower handle but managed to irreparably damage it…. the water wouldn’t shut off! Unable to solve the issue, he left with our house water shut off and left us thinking that we had the demo our bathroom wall the next day. Desperately, I contacted Michael and explained the situation. Thankfully, while on the phone he walked me through a way to shut down the shower valve and leave our main water on. He arrived the next day to investigate the problem. Not only did we not have to break our wall, but he was able to hunt down the rare parts and fix our shower.
