On May 23rd of this year two employees of Pete the Plumber came to our home to fix several issues. They accomplished most of the items but one issue needed more scrutiny. The volume knob in the shower had shifted so that water could get behind the faceplate. The workers disassembled the knob to investigate and informed me that they would need to return and possibly make a hole in the wall of the facing room to adjust the piping properly. This was necessary because the plumber who did the rough-in didn't set the pipe correctly. I was cool with anything they needed to do to correct the situation and said I would wait until they could schedule another day to return and do the extra work. I paid them for that day and waited.

A few days later, I received a survey request by email. I filled it out saying I was mostly happy with the work that was done but was very unhappy that no one had called me to schedule the finishing of the knob refitting work. The workers left the disassembled knob in my sink, carefully cushioned by a back whipper I had hanging in the shower. I received a phone call that same day apologizing for mishap and promising to figure out what they can do to get my situation resolved.

Well, that was in May. It is now August and I am still waiting. Really!?!?!?! I guess I should not have offered to use the shower in my second bathroom while I waited. I actually tried to get another plumber scheduled to get this fixed and he also didn't call back. Are there any "good" plumbers out there???

We had a great experience with Pete the Plumber during a tough situation with frozen water lines in extreme cold.

Pete was very responsive, clearly explained the root cause of the issue, and walked us through both the short-term fix and the proper long-term solution. His team rerouted the water lines correctly, added insulation, installed new shutoff valves, and made sure everything was tested and working properly before wrapping up.

What I really appreciated was the transparency — no guesswork, no shortcuts, and clear communication throughout the process. The work was done right, not just fast, which is exactly what you want as a homeowner or property owner.

Highly recommend Pete the Plumber for anyone looking for knowledgeable, honest, and high-quality plumbing work.

Pete and his team are the best. Water heater was failing. Pete coached me through the options available and allowed me to make an informed decision. His team onsite were prompt, courteous and very professional. Explained everything and offered advice when asked. Install and cleanup was exactly as you would expect. Top of all of that, price was 100% fair and reasonable. Highly recommend

Reece came to our house to replace a sump pump that failed. Pete and Reece both explained different models and differences. After I chose a model, Reece did the replacement quickly and efficiently. Reece was one of the best plumbers that I have had work on issues.
Pete the Plumber will be the first call for any future plumbing issues..

If you want any plumbing work done and want a company to tell the truth what is wrong with Any issues you may have and be honest about it. It’s definitely Pete The Plumber company. They are very thorough and have a quality staff. I attempted to used Thomas and Galbraith once but did not use them because the try to say I need a whole new water softener and water heater and try to charge me 9000 dollars. Pete The Plumber replaced a part in my hot water heater that was five years old and said my water softener is perfect. Charges me like 550. Totally honest and quality company
