My project consisted of adding recessed lighting to a few rooms in my home, updating switches/outlets and adding outdoor lighting fixtures. I initially called Pelican Electrical based on their impressive projects/portfolio reflected on their website. From the initial stages of the project, Rae Sanders (President), Charlie (General Manager) took their time with me to understand my goals for the project, provide guidance on the recessed lighting design/layout and explained every step of the process to me. In addition, Justin (Installation Team Lead) and the installation team were very receptive to any questions I had during the installation. The entire team at Pelican were all very professional and completely focused on ensuring that I had a great customer experience. The results of the project were amazing – I am extremely happy with the final product/install, the excellent customer service, and the project cost came in less than the original quote “under budget” which was wonderful. As we all know, natural disasters tend to bring out the worst in people (fraudulent contractors who take advantage of people at their lowest times in life). Fortunately, Pelican Electric was not one of them….instead, Pelican Electric came as a referral from a friend. Not sure what to expect since this was all new to me, I put my trust & faith in Pelican Electric to get my large job done. Pelican Electric exceeded my expectations from the very first day we met to discuss the job until the last day of completion. Having to deal with insurance companies, permits, & multiple revisions on my part, Pelican Electric handled all of it with utmost professionalism. The job included testing all existing wiring, replacing all damaged wires & outlets, replacing all damaged lighting/fixtures & adding additional lighting inside & out where requested……all while ensuring everything was up to code. Pelican Electric was very flexible working around several other contractors while remaining on a time schedule. I am never one to write reviews, but always quick to read them when searching for quality craftsmanship, so I deemed it necessary to share such an outstanding experience with Pelican Electric.
