From the beginning, he was kind, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to clearly explain our options, walked us through the installation, and made sure everything was done safely and correctly. Cortez took all the necessary precautions to ensure our home was safe and made sure we were fully satisfied with the parts and repairs that were needed. The work was completed on time, the area was left spotless, and the furnace is working perfectly. His attention to detail, genuine care for the customer, and pride in his work truly stood out. I had someone come out in December and replace a valve which cost almost $300. Then he told me that basically I needed new toilets. Okay fine! There was no option given to me, he told implied that they only carry one toilet, and that it had to be ADA compliant. Again, there was no option, like of selection given to me. As if they only sold this one toilet. When he referenced compliance I believed that it was a requirement. So the first visit was almost $300 to replace a valve. Then over $2,000 to replace two toilets... Which by the way on the PDF quote I received there was no reference of a 3% charge for credit card. When he finished the job he said, check or credit card? Simply thinking credit card would be faster, I reached for that. Which wound up being the added 3%. There were horrible issues around the base of the toilet not matching the flooring that existed. Again, understandable now, that the footprint might not be exact to the original toilet base. But now we're at $2300 and it looks horrible. I was very upset about how the floor looked so they came out to look at the job. That morning it was leaking all over the guest bathroom. When the second technician came out... Very polite, very professional, he explained that when he quotes a job he includes the angle stop which was not included in the original quote. He took pictures which to me implied that he was proving that the leak was not caused by their work. He showed me where he believed the leak was coming from and then quoted me another $400 to fix both toilets. Two toilet replacements now at a total cost within 3 months time of $2,700. I'm sorry... Of course, time will tell if the replacement was good - but the customer service (from both Kevin and all the people who we spoke with on the phone), the timeliness, and the willingness to explain and answer all our concerns was a nice change from those who roll their eyes and act like they're a god among the mortals. Took a little longer than expected, but appreciate the thorough work. - 1/5 — Anonymous Had the most horrible experience with this company… our water heater went out yesterday, we usually go to hessingers but they weren’t available till today and we didn’t want to wait… the guy came, and told us we needed to get a gas valve replacement, didn’t check anything or even look to see if it could be anything else…but he couldn’t find one anywhere told us if we found one it would cost about $550 for them to install it with no warranty… (keep in mind gas valve would have cost us $200, found it right away online) and $3800 for a brand new one… we couldnt afford that but thank God we still kept our appointment with hessingers, the guy came, relit the igniter and called it a day! We now have hot water and no problems!
