Their team was professional from start to finish and communicated clearly and consistently with our general manager, who did an excellent job coordinating the project on-site. Even with ownership not physically present, we felt completely confident trusting their team with access to our facility and execution of the work. The job was handled efficiently — they were in and out, left no mess behind, and caused no disruption to our members in a very busy, 24-hour gym environment. It was easy to pay our bill online, everything was transparent, and when they decided not to install the dimmer switches they automatically removed it from our bill. The work they do is top notch! Every single electrician I have worked with has been professional, friendly, and great communicators. 2 weeks ago I had them install 4 can lights in my living room and the installation went smoothly and ended up being significantly cheaper than what I was quoted for. I received a shockingly high bill with additional charges that had not previously been discussed. In effect charged me almost $400 to install 2 outlets just on the other side of the same wall. No attic, crawlspace, or panel work. Would not use them again for that reason. Update: I never tried to get them to do the work without a permit. The permit was never mentioned as part of the work to add the 2 outlets. All he said was ‘it’s just charging for my time’. I didn’t ask them to remove anything from the bill or further discount it. I paid the bill right away. I simply questioned it. The discount mentioned was on the bill from the beginning as a new customer discount- not a form of customer service. Had I known about the surprise fees, I would not have had the extra work done. Surprise charges and poor communication is not a good look. Thanks for the incorrect accusations though! - 5/5 — Anonymous Everyone I dealt with at Mike’s was great, from Amanda taking my information and setting up my appointment, the technicians that arrived to do the repairs. The techs arrived earlier than expected, found the source of the problem quickly, had all the needed parts to fix the issue, and completed the repair in no time at all. The employees were polite and professional.
