Our baseboard heating started leaking late last night at one of the joints. We ended up shutting down the heat, it was freezing cold, but we called Ed at 8am , he was here before 9am. He was in and out in less than two hours and priced the job very fairly--which was a big relief. Will definitely use these guys in the future as we upgrade the heating and cooling in our home. Thanks Ed!

My wife are still relative newcomers to Maine, but we've got a couple of winters under our belt. Our furnace itself is not old, but we knew we wanted a professional to look at some of the pipes and the whole apparatus in the basement. That's when we met Bill, from MMHC, who is just top-notch at what he does. Bill took the time to understand and assess our heating system, and recommend some upgrades for it to run quieter and to replace some aging parts with more efficient ones. When you're working with a professional who has this level of expertise, you want someone who can explain things in a helpful, clear, straightforward way. Bill just obviously knows what he's doing and is easy to talk to about it. Sometimes that is hard to find.

MMHC will provide quotes ahead of time and the work is done carefully and with high quality parts. Our cat is also a fan of Bill (so, case closed).

Lastly, we later had a situation during the Summer where an internal sensor in our water heater tripped an alarm. This was not furnace related, but we did have a minor leak (thankfully not a major one), and Bill was able to come by immediately and resolve the issue.

I've lived in a few states over the years and met a number of professionals who work on this type of thing. I recommend MMHC highly to anyone living in or around Augusta & Kennebec County.
