The technician arrived and quoted me a very high price for clearing the drain but would not put it in writing. Of course I could have refused the service, but not having a functioning kitchen sink, I felt Forced into accepting the service at the high price. It took him all of 10 minutes to run the snake through the pipe, and that was it.This practice of not giving you a price range upfront Seems very unusual to me.
