I would much rather support my community and businesses. I’ve used the Local Plumber several times now and have never been disappointed. On Friday, I turned on my outside hose for the season but noticed there was a leak in my basement. I called to schedule an appointment and Seamus was out on Monday to take a look. He showed me the issue and fixed a burst pipe very quickly so it didn’t affect my workday. This company is fantastic. The people are knowledgeable and friendly. We also had them fix a leaking old refrigerator line in our crawl space and we lastly had them add a drain, and on/off to our cold water on the hot water heater.. and a overhaul of it as well (flush it out and replace elements). The gentleman who came out to assess things, Travis, is an awesome guy and very straight forward. The plumber who did the repairs, Daniel H, also a great guy. Both of these guys were super friendly and nice, and made me feel comfortable having them in my home. Travis came out for the estimate and was thorough and honest about what the job would involve. The crew completed the install in a day. After the install, I noticed a few things that needed correction based on the manufacturer's specifications. Shamus, their production manager, had independently caught one of the issues as well. They came back, addressed everything, and the job passed Franklin County inspection with no issues. What impressed me most was how they handled the callbacks — no pushback, no excuses, just ownership and a commitment to getting it right.
