100% recommend this team!! They were able to fit me in at the last minute after our water heater died. I felt totally informed and communicated with the entire time. Fair pricing and excellent experience. They got everything installed in under 2 hours too. KC Water Heaters is the one to use! :)

Literally the nicest, most professional people. We had our heater installed and had a great experience. The installation guy even fixed a broken bifold door in the basement that he thought he had broken (he didn't, it was broken a week earlier, I forgot to warn the poor guy).

The units they install are the same brand as bigger companies charging double the price in our area. Just can't beat this service and price!

I'm happy to post a great review for a great company! Our water heater was pushing 15 years old. Still working but starting to leak from the bottom on occasion. I got bids from several companies in the area, most charging around $2300 and interestingly, more for a 50 gallon gas vs 40 gallon. I think I filled out the online email from KC Water Heater website and Chase quickly texted me asking for photos. I sent several over and he called pretty quick after. He was VERY detailed in all they would replace, install, even zooming in on the caps at the top that had melted.

I love that their website had videos showing/explaining the process of replacing the water heater. They had "package" pricing depending if you just needed the water heater, if you also needed things like a new pressure valve due to age, the expansion tank (which we didn't have) so rather than nickel and dime all the parts, it was pretty much packaged up front. The quote they sent over we VERY detailed with every step of the installation and every part included, as opposed to others that basically sent a quote that said "Install 50 gallon water heater....$2300" BEST PART they did not charge more for a 40 gallon VS 50 gallon. They also replaced part of the vent to help the quality of air flowing out of the house from the top of the unit.

Cooper and Logan showed up exactly on time, took about 2 hours and even helped clean the area a bit (we had some junk tucked behind for storage) and pulled that out for me so when they installed the new one that area was nice and clean! Very friendly, answered a lot of my questions and explained all. Paid $1715 for the whole deal (it will vary based on what you need but we pretty much needed it all.) Wish they did more than this as I would hire them in a minute for other plumbing but I appreciate that the focus mainly on this so they have become experts at it. Five stars!

When our water heater started leaking I was lucky enough to find Chase Thompson and KC Water Heaters. Chase is great, he took the time to answer all my questions and explain all I would ever need to know about water heaters. Our situation is a bit different as we have a water softener and needed a powered anode rod to keep the soft water from corroding the new water heater. His bid was very fair so I made an appointment for the install. Cooper and Logan arrived on time, explained what they would do and answered all my questions and concerns. Their work is exemplary.

I had some issues with a 13+ year old water heater, and I had intended to replace it vs repair. I called KC Water Heater, on a Monday at 8:00am, and Chase was at my house before noon to service the unit. He was very honest in saying that I could get by without a full replacement, but I preferred to have it done to prevent issues in the future. Chase had the old one out and the new one installed within about two hours, and the price did not fluctuate from what was listed on their website. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and personable.

They only do water heaters, so if you know that is what you need and want to do business with a family owned shop, they would be my only recommendation in KC.
