Great service and communications. I had emailed them about an ECU issue and if a solution was possible. They confirmed they had the ability to code the donor ECU. Including shipping both ways I had in back in my hands in a week and it works as expected. Great folks!!

We had an erroneous faulty parking sensor error and were told it needed to be reprogrammed. We paid cash to have them reprogram the parking sensor code, but the error returned shortly after leaving, which leads me to believe all they did was clear the code…not reprogram anything. Waste of money.

In response to owner. My wife visited with Hau from East Canyon on Monday, 9/8/25 around noon in her black 2022 Mercedes GLC 300. She paid $100 cash…you did not give her a receipt or invoice.

Second response follow up. Still not a true statement by the owner. We were recommended to Karman because the body shop didn’t have the appropriate scanner tool. So we went to Karman, they scanned it, said there was a “voltage jump” and that clearing it would likely fix it. Use Karman Auto at your risk!

Will not return phone calls, texts,or emails. Charged for services they didn’t complete. They couldn’t handle BASIC repairs. Returned my parts with missing components.

## FAQ
**Q: What types of automotive control module programming services do you offer?**
A: Karman Auto specializes in a variety of module programming services, including ECU/ECM, BCM, airbag (SRS/RCM), instrument cluster, transmission (TCM), radio/navigation, and gateway/ADAS module programming. We offer services like cloning, VIN correction, IMMO sync, and crash data reset to restore modules to a factory-ready state.

**Q: Do you offer ECU cloning services, and what is required for a successful clone?**
A: Yes, we provide ECU cloning services. For a successful clone, the donor module must have the exact same part number as the original or be a verified compatible donor. Contact us prior to shipping if you are unsure if your modules meet this requirement.

**Q: What is ECU virginizing, and when is it necessary?**
A: ECU virginizing resets a used ECU to a like-new state, which allows it to be programmed and personalized to another vehicle using a factory-level scan tool. This is useful when the original ECU is not readable or cloning is not possible.

**Q: How long does the ECU or module programming process typically take?**
A: Our typical bench processing time is 24–48 hours after the module is delivered to us, assuming there are no complications. Issues like water damage, burned components, or unreadable memory can extend the processing time.

**Q: Do you perform any testing of the modules once the programming is complete?**
A: We perform bench-level EEPROM and flash data verification to ensure data integrity. However, we do not perform on-vehicle installation or functional testing; this is the responsibility of the installer.

**Q: My car was in an accident. Can you reset my airbag module?**
A: Yes, we offer airbag module reset services. We can reset SRS/RCM airbag modules by clearing crash data and restoring the module to a factory-ready state, provided the module is supported. This service helps ensure your airbag system functions correctly after repairs.

**Q: I'm not local to Portland, OR. Can I still use your services?**
A: Yes, we offer fast nationwide mail-in service. You can ship your module to us, and we will program, clone, or repair it and return it to you. This allows us to serve customers across the country with our specialized services.
