Everyone I came in contact with from office personnel, John the sales representative and the installers Andy & Marie!! Kind and helpful beyond words!! They restored my faith in people!! They couldn’t do enough for us unlike our last heating people who left us without heat the night of our snowstorm and subzero temperatures! I will sing JB Mechanical LLC praises to anyone who will listen!! Josh & John have both been great to work with. Called for a quote and A/C was installed that next week. Always like to support the local businesses who also support our community. - 2/5 — Anonymous Really wanted to be able to leave a 5 star review because John was super nice. But there were several hiccups in the process of trying to get a new mini split unit installed. The install date was pushed several times which was extremely inconvenient when trying to schedule time off with our employers to be there when the install happened. The wrong units were ordered which caused a delay in the install. John was apologetic & we understand as mistakes happen. We were told there would be some kind of discount due to the delay & wrong order but that never happened. A hole was left in our living room wall (not on JB Mechanical 100% due to the old indoor unit not being mounted on a stud) but it would have been nice to have given some suggestions as to what to do with the hole in the wall.. what others have done? Any contractors they recommended to fix it? Etc. Additionally, we were not told about needing to have a concrete pad to put the outdoor unit on. Instead we were just told “we’re not liable for this” as it’s sitting on a piece of plastic. We are first time homeowners, we would have had a concrete pad ready for the install had we known! And to top it off, we got a phone call saying we didn’t pay the second half of our invoice. We mailed a check far in advance and could see that it was cashed at the bank. We were told “oh sometimes we just forget to mark the invoices paid” As we scrambled thinking the check was stolen and/or fraudulently cashed. The positives are that the techs that installed were friendly, the install was done in a day and John was really nice.
