Absolutely love Jacksonville heating and Air. They came out today, clean my filthy air conditioner, and got it ready for the summer. I love the fact that they will remind you when it's time to have your heating or air conditioning serviced, takes the load off me.

Great Customer service. The technicians that came out to my house were very knowledgeable and took the time to help me understand my system. After the service was complete they offered me financing on my repairs. The charges were fair priced and I highly recommend this company for anyone that needs HVAC repairs or replacement.

The tech that was reviewed previously no longer works for this company.

They installed new system in 2017. Still under warranty. Called two times over past 7 days and left messages--without air. Text on call tech. No reply. Finally called Airmasters and they came out and repaired. Will have to pay for repair. Initial install was good, except they forgot to install new thermostat. Service response, even though it was holiday weekend and following week was poor.

Jason came out to diagnose a problem with my up and downstairs AC unit. He went into the attic and proceeded to remove a panel and a duct all while using improper tools because they were missing from his bag. After about 20 mins, he said it was too hot and went to look at the downstairs AC. He removed the panel in the outside unit and tried to replace a part for the diagnosis. I asked him if he was going to charge me for the part and he said it would be $300 plus for a TO5 KickStart Potential Relay and Start Capacitor which goes for $60 to $80. After saying I wasn't going to pay for that, he said he would just wrap up then. He then tried to charge me over $130 for the labor he had done for both units. After I told him he didn't do anything upstairs, he kindly removed the payment for the attic and still charged me $88 to remove two panels, a duct, and no diagnosis for the problem. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. It's upsetting that there are businesses like this. Wish it would've worked out.

RESPONSE TO OWNER REPLY:
Hi Josie. Apologies, I don't know how to reply to your response, so I figured I would add it here.

First off, Jason never gave me any diagnosis of the problem with any of my AC units. The charge for $266.41 he was trying to make me pay was for a TO5 KickStart Potential Relay and Start Capacitor which goes for $60 to $80.

Second, I am well aware that the attic was extremely hot, I was with him the whole time, which is how I know he only removed two panels and a duct, without a diagnosis. I gave him a towel and ice water because it was terrible up there. And we were only up there for 25 to 30 mins max.

Third, I am not trying to kick a small business in the teeth, I gave an honest review of a company that offers services and it seems shady to try to charge $266 for a $60 to $70 part, which Jason stated may or may not be the problem.

Yes, I told him I did not want the repairs and that he could wrap up and leave. So he definitely did not tell you exactly what happened and how long he was on the job. I have great respect for people who work hard in adverse conditions, but not those who overcharge and/or try to get over on people. If I didn't follow him around to see what he was doing, I would've been stuck with those ridiculous and not, as you state, fair prices.

Our ac went out Thursday afternoon. Owner told me he would be there mid-morning Friday. He arrived on time, went right to work, explained the problem and gave me price before performing the repair. He had it fixed in less than an hour and I thought his price was more than fair. I'll definitely use him again.
