We were in pinch where we had some major issues with our main panel that came out of nowhere and my normal electrician was out of town. Steve was able to come onsite within an hour on a weekend for a reasonable price to quickly diagnose the issue. He was able to create a safe temporary solution and order the right parts to permanently fix within a few days - good communication and fair price HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! - 5/5 — Anonymous I was loosing power to majority of my home and reached out to Independent Electric. I will definitely be calling Independent Electric for my electrical needs - 5/5 — Anonymous Steve is the epitome of an ideal pro: courteous, knowledgeable, efficient and patient with a clueless client. I wanted to replace two two-bulb flourescent kitchen ceiling fixtures with an LED ones. The old fixtures were embedded in a 48" x 48" cavity, four inches deep in the ceiling. After consulting with the Home Depot lighting expert, I bought two 48" x 24" fixtures he said will fit in the cavity. Well it didn't. Steve offered a couple of suggestions, one of which was he will find the right fixtures that would work. He responded a couple of days later with the new fixtures. They are very modern-looking 24" fixtures that fit the cavity perfectly, and, despite the smaller size, are brighter than the old ones. Steve, mercifully ignored our cluttered home, came an installed them in short time, even answered a few questions I had about other electrical matters. It doesn't get any better than this. Backstory: I ran into an electrical issue on Saturday at a house I am fixing up to sell, and wasn't sure where to start. I found Independent's website and Steve promptly called me back. He was very professional and offered me a quote after I texted a couple pictures over. I left a key in a lockbox so that he could come by Monday morning, and he had everything fixed up before 9am. Great value, and stellar communication/service. I wish the interactions I had with all the other contractors I'm working with were this smooth!
